Today I say, “I do” but to me that means, “I will.” I will take your hand and stand by your side in the good and the bad. I will dedicate myself to your happiness, success, and smile. I will love you forever.
It’s anything you want to make it!
Private vows allow you and your partner to take a moment out of your wedding day and steal away for a quiet moment for just the two of you. In a world where every aspect of our lives is often documented and shared, there is something heartfelt about keeping this moment sacred and private.
Couples may choose to do this before the ceremony (this works well with first look or first touch) or it can be in letter form to be read privately while you’re getting ready. Either way, writing private vows to each other and not to be mic-dropped before every guest, does relieve some pressure!
You can say ANYTHING.
This is a moment for you and your partner. All relationships are made up of things big and small. It’s those intimate moments shared between the two of you that are intended to be kept private.
It’s PRIVATE.
It’s just you two, and your photographer of course! It’s an undeniable sense of intimacy – a moment when time seems to stand still and the wedding day pressure fades away, leaving only the two of you pledging your love and promises for a lifetime ahead
It is MEANINGFUL.
Wait! You mean my ceremony vows won’t be? No – reciting traditional vows in front of your loved ones is just as special but it can be nerve-wracking! For many, it’s reclaiming the essence of what a wedding truly represents – the commitment of two people to love and support each other through life’s joys and challenges.
