Once you fill out my contact form, you’ll get an email with helpful next steps—including this blog post! From there, I’ll personally respond with more details and a link to schedule a call so we can get to know each other.
I want to hear your story, your vision for the day, and what matters most to you. I am going to be by your side for the majority of your wedding day, so it is important to decide early on if we make that connection.
💬 North Carolina tip: With seven years of experience working in the Greensboro, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, and North Carolina area, I’ve likely photographed at your venue and can offer specific insight, too. If not, not worries, I have also been to many venues site unseen (Jamaica being one of them and that turned out great).
After our call, if it feels like a great fit (and I hope it does!), I’ll send over a custom proposal with package options and your contract. Once everything is signed and your retainer is paid, you’re officially booked! WHOOP WHOOP!!!
You’ll receive a detailed welcome guide that includes tips on timeline planning, engagement session prep, and how to get the most out of your experience.
This is where we really get to know each other! We’ll pick a meaningful or scenic location, maybe an open field in Price Park, the coast of Oak Island, or a charming downtown street. I’ll guide you every step of the way—offering gentle prompts that bring out real connection, movement, and emotion, rather than stiff poses. My approach is rooted in storytelling, so while I’ll give direction when needed, I’m always watching for the in-between moments too—the way you laugh together, the way they look at you when you’re not looking.
You won’t have to perform for the camera. You just get to be yourselves—and I’ll make sure you feel confident, comfortable, and completely seen.
The engagement session is also a chance to build trust and get comfortable before the big day.

About 6–8 weeks before your wedding, I’ll send over a detailed questionnaire that helps me learn more about your day—your priorities, family photo groupings, and any special moments you want captured. I use your answers to create a custom photography timeline that supports your vision and helps your day flow smoothly.
If you ever feel like you need to hop on a call to talk things through, I’m always available. Whether it’s right after the questionnaire or the week of the wedding, I’m here to help however I can.
✨ Bonus: I’ve worked with many wedding planners and venues throughout North Carolina and can help guide you through what works best. My favorite wedding planner to work with in North Carolina is Vivian Schneider.
This is your day to be fully present. I’ll arrive early, camera in hand, fully prepped—and never alone. Every package includes either an assistant or a second shooter (depending on what we discuss on our initial call), so there’s always an extra set of hands to help keep the day running smoothly and ensure nothing is missed.
Behind the scenes, I’m just as prepared: I bring backup camera bodies, extra lenses, and shoot with a dual memory card system—so every photo is instantly backed up from the moment it’s taken. You can relax knowing that I’m capturing your day with intention, care, and layers of protection.
Whether it’s an elegant vineyard celebration or a charming Southern estate wedding, I focus on the moments that matter most—capturing your story with depth, with heart, and intention.
Within a few days, I’ll send you sneak peeks so you don’t have to wait to relive the magic. I want you to be able to share your work with your friends and family. Your full gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks via an online gallery that you can easily download, share, and order prints.
If your package includes an album, we’ll work together to create a beautiful keepsake full of your favorite moments. I’ll do the heavy lifting—you just choose the images you love most.
As a North Carolina wedding photographer with 7 years of experience, I care deeply about creating an experience that feels personal, relaxed, and unforgettable. You’re not just hiring someone to take photos—you’re inviting someone to witness your love story and preserve it through meaningful, intentional imagery.
You’re trusting me to capture moments you might miss in the rush of the day—and I don’t take that lightly. After suddenly losing my brother at 13 and my mom at 29, I see the world differently. I understand just how fleeting time is, and how photographs become the most precious thing we have when moments pass.
The people you choose to have by your side on your wedding day are special. My job is to make sure their presence, your memories, and the emotion of it all are frozen in time, so you never forget how it felt.
Whether you’re planning a wedding in the mountains of Asheville, a coastal ceremony in Wilmington, or a city celebration in Greensboro, I’m here to document it all with care and intention.
If this sounds like the experience you’ve been dreaming of, I’d love to chat with you. You can inquire here and we’ll take it from there.
Your story matters—and I can’t wait to tell it.
