So many times I hear people say (myself included) please don’t get me in that picture. HECK, I try to hide from the camera at all cost. I feel better behind the lens rather than in front of it. .
I am here to tell you to STOP doing that. You need to just TAKE THE PICTURE. I lost my mom in May 2019 and I feel like I didn’t have enough recent pictures. Because well, I thought I would have TIME. I feel like I should have taken more photos with her to look back on but I didn’t because I was insecure of me.
I am angry at myself for not taking more pictures with her with my kids. Why did I not just TAKE THE PICTURE? It is easy to think that you have time to get in shape or you have time to feel better about yourself before you are ready to take the picture, but I am here to tell you friend, that you are not promised tomorrow and neither are the people around you.
The people you could be leaving here on Earth will want these pictures and hold them so close when you are gone. Or you might just end up living like me, in regret for not TAKING THE PICTURE!! So seriously stop hiding from the camera or putting off those updated family pictures because you will look better next year…
instead PLEASE TAKE THE PICTURE.
